Thanks for your interest in our LEGO club and charity! We will be contacting you as soon as possible regarding the schedule for the general meeting with the applicants (latest Oct 12).


If you have helped our organization improve in your position and/or took initiatives that are beneficial for Bricks for Hope, you will also be awarded the executive position and CCR recognition next year, as well as free Bricks for Hope merchandises of various sizes at the end of the year!

Position Descriptions:


1. Presidential Team (2) -- around 2-3 hours of contribution per week.

Responsibilities: the position shall keep checking up on the progress of each department (Secretary, PR, Events, Creative Research, Sponsorship & Media), keep updating the progress of the team weekly, summarize feedback and amendments from the each department, and assist the president to address any issues.

Requirements: the position requires demonstrations of organization, reading, good written and oral communication skills, and is also passionate about LEGO and preferably knows background knowledge/experiences about them.


2. Secretary Team (2) -- around 1-2 hours of contribution per week.

Responsibilities: the position shall assist the secretary for official campus related issues, including the regular update on the Office Space and the CCR recognition processes, apply for the club Locker Application, 2020-2021 UTSU & U Life club recognition applications, keep up the official communications with members via the official club gmail and the website, as well as looking up and researching for more U of T policies which might benefit the club.

Requirements: the position prefers upper year (second year undergrad or above) who has general research experiences and experiences in involving with other U of T organizations.


3. Sponsorship & Media Team (2) -- around 2 hours of contribution per week.

Responsibilities: the (media) position helps the sponsorship & media executive to run the official medium of Bricks for Hope, namely the Facebook page, Instagram, website, and LinkedIn. the (sponsorship) position shall constantly seek sponsor and fund opportunities, as well as going over and apply for current available sponsorship opportunities.

Requirements: the (media) position requires a good sense of design, has some experiences in media & communication, while the (sponsorship) position needs demonstration of good writing and research skills.


4. Public Relations External Team (2) -- around 2 hours of contribution per week

Responsibilities: the position shall keep up the contact with external groups (ex, LEGO Ambassador Network, LEGO community organizations, LEGO clubs from other universities). The position shall also keep looking for new organizations to learn from them and form potential collaborations.

Requirements: the position needs to have demonstration of good written communication skills, and is passionate about LEGO and preferably knows background knowledge/experiences about them.
